Vietnamese Gold Prices Fall Amid Global Weakness

The gold price in Vietnam has reversed its trend downwards on August 10th. According to Phu Quy Jewelry Group, the SJC gold bar price is listed at 140.5-143.5 million VND/tael (buying - selling), down 500,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions.

The difference between buying and selling prices is 3 million VND/tael. DOJI Group also lists the SJC gold bar price at the same threshold, with a 3 million VND/tael difference between buying and selling prices.

Gold ring prices are also down, with Phu Quy Gold and Gems Group listing them at 140.5-143.5 million VND/tael (buying - selling), down 500,000 VND/tael in both directions. The buying - selling difference is 3 million VND/tael.

AIDOJI Group lists the gold ring price at 140.2-14.42 million VND/tael (buying - selling), down 1 million VND/tael in both directions. The buying - selling difference is 4 million VND/tael.

World gold prices are also down, listed around the threshold of 4,321.9 USD/ounce at 9:50 am on August 10th, down 19.4 USD/ounce.
