The price of gold in Vietnam has experienced a downward trend, according to data from August 12. The SJC gold bar price listed by Phu Quy was at 140.5-143.5 million VND/tael (buying - selling), down 600,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions.

The difference between the buying and selling prices is at 3 million VND/tael. In contrast, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the SJC gold bar price at 142-146 million VND/tael (buying - selling), an increase of 1 million VND/tael in both buying and selling directions.

The global gold price has also decreased, reaching around 4,381.3 USD/ounce as of 0:05 AM on August 12, down 14 USD from the previous day.

Experts predict that world gold prices will continue to fluctuate strongly due to a balance between safe-haven demand and oil price movements, US bond yields, and Fed policy expectations.
