Wall Street Drifts as Tensions Ease Between US and Iran
The stock market on Wall Street had a mixed day Monday as tensions between the US and Iran eased.
Crude oil prices dropped after the two countries paused their attacks, with Brent crude falling 6.3% to $85.87 per barrel for October delivery, while U.S. crude oil fell 7.5% to $82.61 per barrel for September delivery.
The decline in oil prices was a reversal from last week when prices surged to over $100 per barrel due to concerns about global oil supplies.
