Wall Street Stocks and Crude Prices Edge Higher Amid Strong Corporate Earnings

Stocks on Wall Street continued their winning streak, hovering near record highs set just a day earlier. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 473 points, or 0.9%, while the S&P 500 gained 0.1%. Meanwhile, oil prices edged higher as Brent crude reached $79.26 per barrel.

The strong corporate earnings and expectations of continued growth have been driving stock prices up. Despite concerns about high valuations in the tech sector, many investors remain optimistic about the prospects for companies focused on artificial intelligence, such as Nvidia, which saw its shares rise 4.4% after announcing a major contract with Elon Musk's SpaceX.

However, not all companies fared well, with SpaceX itself falling 11.9% following its first quarterly report as a public company. The report showed that the company had sharply increased spending on artificial intelligence, which weighed on Advanced Micro Devices and sent its shares down 6.2%.
