Wall Street Stocks Climb as Oil Prices Edge Higher
Stocks on Wall Street continued their upward trajectory on Wednesday, with the S&P 500 rising 0.6% to add to its record set a day earlier.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 381 points, while the Nasdaq composite gained 0.4%. The Walt Disney Co. saw its stock surge after reporting strong earnings, driven by the success of 'Toy Story 5' and improved performance at its U.S. theme parks.
Meanwhile, SpaceX's stock sank more than 10% as it reported a significant increase in spending on artificial intelligence, with capital expenditures reaching $18.4 billion.
Oil prices also edged higher, with Brent crude rising 1% to over $80 a barrel.
