On Wall Street, stocks continued their upward trend on Wednesday, adding to their records. The S&P 500 rose by 0.6% for the day, building on its previous record set just a day earlier.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average also saw significant gains, rising by 381 points. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq composite index increased by 0.4%.

Some notable company performances included Walt Disney Co., which rose after reporting earnings that beat analysts' expectations, thanks in part to the success of 'Toy Story 5.' In contrast, SpaceX saw a decline following an announcement about increased spending on artificial intelligence research.

Global markets also reflected the positive trend, with European and Asian indices showing gains. The price of Brent crude oil rose by 1% to approximately $80 per barrel.
