Wall Street Stocks Waver Near Records Amid Steady Oil Prices
Stocks on Wall Street experienced a mixed finish on Wednesday and remained close to their records, despite oil prices holding steady.
The S&P 500 fell 12.97 points, or 0.2%, to close at 7,723.55 after surging to a record the previous day.
Big technology companies weighed down the market, with Alphabet dropping 4% and Microsoft falling 1.1%.
The Dow Jones industrial Average rose 263.24 points, or 0.5%, to 54,349.12, reaching another record.
