In honor of America's 250th birthday, Walmart is slashing prices on thousands of items across its stores. The retailer announced that it will be offering price reductions on products such as ground beef, fresh produce, beverages, grills, pools, toys, and summer fashion apparel.

The new prices are already available in-store and online, giving customers plenty of time to stock up for their summer needs. Some notable grocery deals include Rollbacks on fresh sweet corn (old price: $0.68 each, new price: $0.25 each), 2.25-pound bags of fresh red cherries (old price: $11.18, new price: $5.63), and Great Value ice cream (old price: $2.97, new price: $2.50).

The price reductions are part of Walmart's efforts to make products more accessible and affordable for consumers, according to Julie Barber, Walmart U.S. Executive Vice President and Chief Merchant. 'Customers count on Walmart to deliver the value they need every day, and summer is no exception,' she said.
