War-Related Export Crunch Hits AgroGeneration's Sales Strategy

AgroGeneration has completed its 2026 early-crop harvest over about 11,500 hectares, reporting roughly 46,800 tons of grain and oilseeds. Winter wheat yields rose to 4.6 tons per hectare, more than 50% above 2025 levels.

However, heavy pre-harvest rainfall sharply reduced wheat quality, with only 16% classified as food-grade versus 40% last year. The company is broadening its crop mix, experimentally reintroducing winter barley and rapeseed and significantly increasing flax and chickpea areas, supported by favorable yields and attractive economics.

AgroGeneration has begun harvesting late crops and started the 2027 winter sowing campaign, but war-related damage to export infrastructure has cut domestic grain prices by about one-third. This has prompted a strategy of delaying large-scale sales and storing part of the harvest to preserve value.
