Western Canada Grain Prices Hit New Highs on September 1
The latest grain prices in Western Canada have been released by PDQ, a company owned by the Alberta Wheat Commission. The figures are current as of September 1, 2026.
PDQ provides information services and cash grain market prices to producers across the region. However, it is recommended that producers check with multiple grain companies for basis levels in their area.
The prices listed include those for CWRS (13.5 CAD per metric tonne), CWAD (13.0 CAD per metric tonne), CPSR (11.5 CAD per metric tonne), CDA (CANADA, 12.5 CAD per metric tonne) and YELLOW (2 CAD per metric tonne).
The prices vary by region, with the highest price for CWRS seen in South Alberta at 338.55 CAD per metric tonne.
