Western Canada Grain Prices Show Variance Across Regions
A recent update from PDQ, owned by the Alberta Wheat Commission, provides average grain prices in Western Canada as of September 4, 2026. The figures include prices for various types of grains and canola.
The report shows that CWRS, CWAD, CPSR, CDA, and YELLOW have prices ranging from $11.5 to $13.5 per metric tonne in different regions of Western Canada. Canola is priced at $311.39 in Peace region, while peas are not available in this area.
The Alberta Wheat Commission's PDQ provides cash grain market prices and related statistical data. The commission advises producers to check with multiple grain companies for basis levels in their specific areas.
