The latest grain prices in Western Canada have been released by PDQ, which provides information services and cash grain market prices. As of August 31st, 2026, the average prices per metric tonne are listed below.

CWRS, CWAD, CPSR, CDA, and YELLOW were all included in the data, with CANOLA and PEAS also reported at varying locations across Western Canada.

In Alberta, N Alberta showed a price of 327.75 CAD per metric tonne for CWRS, while S Alberta reached 330.18 CAD. CANOLA prices ranged from 317.38 CAD in Peace to 327.48 CAD in E Man.

Producers are encouraged to check with several grain companies for basis levels in their area, as these can vary significantly.
