Western Canadian Grain Prices Released for August 31
Grain prices in Western Canada have been released for August 31st by PDQ, which is owned by the Alberta Wheat Commission. The data provides average grain prices at various areas in Western Canada in Canadian dollars per metric tonne.
The prices for CWRS, CWAD, CPSR, CDA, and YELLOW were listed as follows: $13.5, $13.0, $11.5, N/A, and $2 respectively.
Producers are encouraged to check with several grain companies for the basis levels in their area. The prices vary by region, with the highest price for CWRS at $330.18 in South Alberta and the lowest at $304.41 in Southeastern Saskatchewan.
