Western Canadian Grain Prices Vary Significantly Across Regions

The latest grain prices in Western Canada have been released by PDQ, which provides information services and cash grain market prices. As of September 3, 2026, the average grain prices are as follows: CWRS is $13.5 per metric tonne, CWAD is $13.0, CPSR is $11.5, CDA is $CANADA$1 (no price given), and YELLOW is $2.

The prices vary across different regions in Western Canada. In the Peace region, CWRS is $319.81 per metric tonne, while CANOLA is not listed. N Alberta has CWRS at $330.83, CDA is not listed, but PEAS are at $303.60. S Alberta has CWRS at $332.89 and CPSR at $308.87.

Producers are encouraged to check with several grain companies for the basis levels in their area.
