Grain futures closed mixed on Tuesday, but wheat was the clear loser.

Sepetember corn finished at $4.63 and a quarter, down a penny and three-quarters from the previous close, while December settled at $4.88, down a penny and a half.

However, soybeans fared better, with Sepetember beans slipping just a quarter-cent to $12.00 and three-quarters, while November gained three-quarters to $12.16 and three-quarters.

Kansas City wheat was particularly weak, with September dropping 15 cents at $7.43 and three-quarters, and December down 13 and a quarter at $7.58 and a half.
