Wheat Futures Rise as Black Sea Disruptions Continue
The US wheat market experienced gains on Tuesday as disruptions in the Black Sea region continued due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
The Ukrainian agriculture ministry reported that their wheat harvest was nearly complete, with a total of 24.91 million tonnes harvested at an average yield of 4.94 tonnes per hectare.
The US Department of Agriculture's weekly export inspections showed 342,733 tonnes of wheat were inspected for export, down from the previous week and year.
