Wheat Market Closes Mixed as Winter Wheats Fade and Spring Wheat Rises
The wheat market closed its midweek session in mixed fashion, with winter wheats falling and spring wheat rising.
Chicago SRW contracts dropped by 2 to 9 ¼ cents on Wednesday, while there were 9 additional delivery notices against September CBT wheat overnight.
Kansas City HRW futures declined by 1 ¾ to 11 cents in most contracts at the close, with 29 delivery notices for September KC wheat reported overnight.
The Minneapolis spring wheat market was the firmest of the three exchanges, up 4 ¼ to 12 cents on Wednesday.
