The wheat market has rebounded by over 3% after pulling back from multi-year highs following a visit by US diplomats to Moscow and Kyiv. The ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia continues to disrupt key logistics routes, leading investors to price in a more persistent reduction in supply.

The latest Commitment of Traders report shows a clear divergence between producer positioning and speculative capital in the wheat market. Managed Money made a strong move toward the long side over the week, while Commercials significantly increased their short exposure.
