Wheat Prices Rebound Amid Black Sea Export Uncertainty
Chicago wheat futures rebounded from a four-week low on Friday, buoyed by a weaker US dollar and reports of disruptions to Black Sea exports.
The most-active contract ended 8.5 cents higher at $6.39.75 per bushel.
The rally was also driven by uncertainty over the impact of Russian and Ukrainian supply disruptions on global markets.
US corn futures were steady, as news of fresh export demand and a weaker dollar kept prices relatively stable, despite ending the week lower for a second consecutive week.
Soybean prices dipped due to fading bullish sentiment from Chinese purchases of US supplies, which had earlier supported prices.
