Wheat Prices Soar as Black Sea Export Fears Escalate Amid Russia-Ukraine Conflict
Wheat futures have surged to a three-year high as concerns about Black Sea export disruptions intensify. The Chicago price of wheat touched its strongest level since July 2023, while Euronext benchmarks reached a one-month peak.

Russia and Ukraine together account for more than a quarter of global wheat exports, and their diminished presence is forcing importers in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia to seek costlier alternatives from Australia and Argentina.
