Wheat Prices Surge Amid Ukraine-Russia Conflict
Grain and soy markets are higher early Wednesday, led by wheat, as traders react to Ukraine's massive drone attack on Russia's primary export terminals.
The USDA reported that private exporters have made sales of 244,000 metric tons (9 mb) of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2026-27 marketing year.
Despite this news, the livestock complex is starting lower as traders seek greater fundamental support. October live cattle are down $0.13 at $226.2, while September feeder cattle are down $0.53 at $344.725.
