White House Seeks Gas Price Relief for Midterm Elections

The White House is urging a reduction in gas prices to aid Republican candidates in the midterms. According to experts, whoever controls oil will continue to control the world.

The Trump Administration is contemplating exemptions from biofuel mandates that add a 44-cent tax on every gallon of gasoline used.

This mandate, known as the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), has been deemed a disaster by many conservative groups. It was established in 2005 to reduce greenhouse emissions and reliance on imported oil but has failed to meet its goals.

The RFS requires a certain amount of blending corn oil with gasoline, which not only adds a significant tax but also puts the environment at risk, as it is worse for the environment than using normal gas.
