World Copper Announces New Leadership and Private Placement
World Copper Ltd., a Canadian resource company focused on exploration and development of prospective projects, has announced changes to its Board of Directors and management. Gareth Thomas has been appointed Executive Chair and Director, bringing over two decades of experience in exploration and public company management.
Shaun Pollard has taken over as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director, with a background in capital markets, exploration, and public company management. He co-founded Westhaven Gold Corp. and served as CFO or Director from 2010 to 2025. Mark Lotz resigned his roles as President, CEO, and Director.
The company is also conducting a non-brokered private placement of up to 13,333,333 units at $0.075 per unit for aggregate proceeds of up to $1 million. Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant with an exercise price of $0.10 per share for two years.
The Offering is subject to approval from the TSX Venture Exchange and will be used for exploration and working capital. Certain directors, officers, and insiders may participate in the Offering, which would be considered a related party transaction under MI 61-101.
