WTI and Brent Oil Prices Surge on August 11
Oil prices have seen an increase on August 11, with WTI Crude Oil (Light Sweet) rising by 2.74% to $84.32 per barrel at the NYMEX Stock Exchange.
Brent Crude Oil has also seen a boost, increasing by 2.75% to $90.02 per barrel at London's ICE Stock Exchange.
The price increase is measured in barrels, with one barrel equivalent to 159.98 liters.
Trade on the NYMEX, a US futures market founded in 1882, is carried out through two divisions: the NYMEX Division and the COMEX Division, with the former handling oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions.
