WTI Crude Hits $95 as Permian Producers Eye Profits
Oil prices have surged to over $95 per barrel due to intensifying conflicts in the Middle East, pushing West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude close to $100.
This favorable pricing environment is expected to continue supporting exploration and production activities, particularly for upstream players operating in the Permian Basin, the most prolific oil-producing region in the United States.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration projected WTI at $80.88 per barrel this year, higher than last year's $65.40.
Permian producers such as Diamondback Energy (FANG), ExxonMobil Holdings Corporation (XOM), and Chevron Corporation (CVX) are well-positioned to capitalize on the ongoing strength of oil prices.
