WTI Oil Prices Struggle Below Key Resistance Zone
WTI crude oil prices continue to face bearish pressure, as sellers remain firmly in control below the key confluence resistance zone of $82.10, $82.15.
This technical barrier, formed by the convergence of a descending trendline and a horizontal resistance level, has consistently capped upside attempts, reinforcing the near-term negative outlook for WTI traders.
The $82.10, $82.15 confluence represents a critical juncture for traders, as a sustained break above this area could signal a shift in momentum and potentially open the door to higher levels at $83.50 and $85.00.
However, if prices remain below this zone, the bias remains tilted to the downside, with immediate support targets seen near $80.00, followed by $78.50, which aligns with the 200-day moving average and a prior consolidation zone.
