Yemeni forces have escalated their attacks on Saudi Arabia in response to what they claim is ongoing military aggression and siege against Yemen.

On Saturday, Yemeni missiles struck King Khalid airbase near Khamis Mushait, approximately 884 kilometers south of Riyadh. The attack was reportedly designed to target areas within the base.

The strikes on King Khalid airbase were part of a larger series of attacks that day. Earlier in the evening, Saudi fighter jets launched air raids against telecommunications facilities and oil depots in Yemen's Hudaydah province. However, no immediate reports detailed the extent of damage caused by these strikes.

Additionally, powerful explosions rocked the port city of Yanbu after being targeted by Yemeni missiles. Local media outlets reported that flights to Riyadh and other cities were diverted due to the air traffic disruptions caused by the missile strikes.
