Yemen Fires Drones at Saudi Oil Transport Facilities, Riyadh Blames Iran-Backed Militias
The Ansarullah movement in Yemen claimed to have launched drones at Saudi oil transport facilities in the country's East. The operation targeted points related to the supply and transportation of crude oil from eastern Saudi Arabia to Yanbu, according to a statement released by the movement.
The statement mentioned that this action was taken in response to the violation of Yemeni airspace by drones belonging to the 'Saudi enemy'. However, the Saudi Defense Ministry spokesman, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, attributed the attack to 'Iran-backed militias in Iraq', contradicting the Ansarullah movement's claim.
