Yemen Strikes Back: Drone Targets Saudi Aramco Facilities in Jizan
Yemen's Armed Forces have targeted Saudi Aramco facilities in Jizan after Saudi drones violated Yemeni airspace over Sa'adah and Hajjah provinces. The operation was a retaliation for 'provocative actions' by Saudi Arabia, which had flown reconnaissance and spy drones over Northern Yemen in recent days.
According to Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, the drone accurately and successfully targeted the facility. He stated that the operation was a precise strike carried out in response to the Saudi violations.
Saudi oil facilities in Jizan have been a regular target of Yemen's armed forces in the past. Reports also confirmed that explosions were heard in the Arab country's Jizan and Eastern provinces, with the Saudi Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources reporting fires at its energy facilities.
