Yemen Turns Tables on Saudi Arabia with Devastating Preemptive Strike

The Yemeni Armed Forces have successfully flipped the battlefield on Saudi Arabia by launching a preemptive strike against a gathering of Saudi-funded forces in Marib.

The attack, which occurred on August 6, targeted assembly points and left at least 58 Saudi-backed mercenaries dead, according to an anonymous Saudi military source.

The Yemeni government has also implemented a total naval embargo on Saudi-linked shipping, effectively blocking the kingdom's energy exports through the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.

This blockade-for-blockade equation has crippled Saudi Arabia's economy, with crude oil exports plummeting to half of their previous level and insurance premiums for vessels docking at western Saudi ports spiking tenfold.
