Yemen Warns Saudi Arabia Against Further Escalation in Conflict
Yemen has warned Saudi Arabia against further escalation in their ongoing conflict, promising a 'comprehensive' response to any aggressive actions.
In a statement, Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarie, spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, announced new military deterrence equations aimed at countering Saudi aggression.
The first equation involves preventing Saudi vessels from passing through key maritime routes, while the second targets Saudi military positions and buildups.
Sarie claimed that since July 20, Yemeni forces have carried out attacks against eight Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, forcing another 48 to turn back.
The spokesman also reported nine operations targeting sites in Yanbu, Najran, Jizan, and Abha, as well as oil-related infrastructure in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province.
Sarie issued a direct warning to Saudi Arabia's leadership, stating that any further escalation would trigger a comprehensive response from Yemen.
