Yemeni Missiles Shot Down Over Saudi Oil Refineries

Air defense systems in Saudi Arabia intercepted two ballistic missiles from Yemen targeting oil refineries in Yanbu, according to Greek security sources.

The defense system was operated by Greek military personnel and has been deployed in Saudi Arabia since 2021 under an agreement with the U.S. to help protect the kingdom's energy infrastructure.

Saudi civil defence had issued warnings for Yanbu and later said the danger had passed, but no official reports of damage have been made.
