Zelenskiy Announces Aid for Farmers Hit by Russian Attacks on Shipping and Ports
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced that his government will provide aid to farmers affected by Russian attacks on shipping and port facilities. The measures were discussed during a government meeting, with a focus on farmers facing difficulties due to Russian strikes on Ukrainian ports and the maritime corridor.
Subsidized credits and other financial assistance will be provided to support these farmers. Zelenskiy stated that these measures would begin implementation in the coming days.
The attacks by Russia have disrupted grain exports, with Ukraine's main agricultural exporter facing significant challenges. A recent Russian attack damaged a foreign-flagged ship carrying wheat in the Black Sea area, killing one crew member and causing a fire.
