Zelenskiy: Russia Not Ready for Grain Ship Ceasefire
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has stated that Russia is not prepared to cease its attacks on grain ships in the Black Sea, despite Ukraine's offer to halt strikes on civilian targets.
Zelenskiy revealed that he had proposed a deal to Russian leaders, offering to spare their ships from attack if they would transport Ukrainian food exports from Russian ports.
However, Moscow has rejected this proposal and instead wants a reciprocal ceasefire agreement that would halt Ukraine's strikes on Russian energy infrastructure in exchange for halting attacks on grain corridors.
