Zelensky Warns Global Food Security Threatened by Russia's Blockade

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia's aggression may once again threaten global food security due to its blockade of grain exports from the Black Sea region.

Zelensky made this statement in his evening video address, citing the consequences of Russian strikes against Ukrainian ports and agricultural facilities. 'We have seen this before,' he said, referring to 2022 when Russia's aggression put food security at risk in many parts of the world.

The President emphasized that the blockade is having a significant impact on countries such as Egypt, Libya, and others that rely heavily on grain imports. He stressed that Ukraine is working closely with its international partners to mitigate this issue and ensure normal life is protected from Russia's actions.
