Obex, an incubator backed by Framework Ventures, has begun deploying $1 billion to connect Sky's USDS stablecoin with income from real-world assets. The targeted sectors include AI data centers, housing finance, energy infrastructure, and structured credit markets.

The first wave of partners consists of eight firms: Maple, USD.ai, Daylight, Centrifuge, Securitize, River, TVL Capital, and Better. Each operates at the intersection of crypto capital and traditional economic sectors.

These firms will work with Obex to build new tokenized products that generate yield and increase USDS circulation across their platforms. They will also develop additional yield instruments over time as part of an ongoing expansion.
