$10,000 Investment in HYPE Outperforms XRP, but which is Worth More by 2030?

A $10,000 investment in XRP since its launch has turned into roughly $14,110, but Hyperliquid's HYPE token has performed far better, reaching $175,000. The difference between the two assets lies in their growth models: XRP relies on legislative outcomes like the CLARITY Act, while HYPE generates fees from every trade that fund monthly buybacks.

XRP traded at $0.73 in August 2021 and rose to over $3.65 in July 2025 before falling back down to its current price of $1.03. Meanwhile, HYPE surged to a new all-time high of $59.39 in September 2025, but the token's value has since dropped to around $56.

If XRP reaches Standard Chartered's bullish forecast of $28 by 2030, a $10,000 investment today could be worth over $271,800. However, this depends on several key catalysts aligning over the next few years, including the passage of the CLARITY Act and Ripple capturing a major share of global financial transactions.

On the other hand, HYPE's market value is expected to reach between $38 billion and $63 billion by 2030, taking a $10,000 investment today to be worth roughly $26,800 to $44,600 at those prices. A strong bull market could push HYPE as high as $400, making it the safer choice for investors who want returns tied to a business that is already earning.
