$100M Crypto Token Investment Ties to Money Laundering Probe and Trump-Linked Business
A businessman named Guren Zhou, also known as Bobby, has been linked to a $100 million investment in World Liberty Financial's (WLF) crypto tokens.
Zhou was previously investigated by British authorities on suspicion of money laundering and had a failed crypto business worth tens of millions of dollars.
The purchase was made through Aqua1, a UAE-based Web3 fund that has ties to the Trump family's crypto business.
Tron founder Justin Sun is a major investor in World Liberty, having invested $45 million in the company's tokens, while an Abu Dhabi institution backed by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan holds a $500 million stake.
