$11.8M Singapore Crypto Payment Processor Hit by Sophisticated Treasury Breach
Singapore-based cryptocurrency payment processor Triple-A reported a $11.8 million treasury breach over the weekend.
The incident, which was first discovered by blockchain security researcher Specter on Friday, saw attackers drain funds from multiple blockchain networks, including Ethereum, TRON, Polygon, Arbitrum, Solana, The Open Network, and Bitcoin.
Triple-A emphasized that no client-owned assets were compromised during the breach, as all customer funds are maintained in segregated trust accounts managed by independent safeguarding entities.
The company has engaged cybersecurity consultants, blockchain forensics specialists, and the Singapore Police Force to investigate the breach and attempt asset recovery.
