$1.3B Crypto Funding Boom: ZeroStack Secures $1B Token Contribution
Crypto and blockchain companies secured approximately $1.298 billion in funding between August 16 and August 22, according to recent announcements.
The majority of this figure comes from ZeroStack's non-cash token contribution, which accounted for $1 billion. In exchange for these tokens, ZeroStack will issue common shares and pre-funded warrants covering up to 36.2 million additional shares.
Ripple Prime raised $275 million through an upsized private offering of senior unsecured notes to institutional investors. This debt financing supports the U.S. expansion of Ripple's prime brokerage operations, including financing, clearing, and other services for digital and traditional assets.
