$1.3B Crypto Funding Surge Led by ZeroStack's $1B Token Contribution
Crypto and blockchain companies raised approximately $1.298 billion in funding across six disclosed transactions between August 16 and August 22, 2026. The largest share of this total came from ZeroStack's receipt of $1 billion in MemeCore tokens through a stock-based transaction.
The company will issue 3.5 million common shares and pre-funded warrants covering up to 36.2 million additional shares as part of the agreement. MemeCore principal Rudy Rong is expected to become ZeroStack's president, expanding its digital asset treasury strategy.
Ripple Prime raised $275 million through a debt offering of senior unsecured notes to institutional investors, which will support the expansion of its prime brokerage operations in the U.S.
