$16M Cardano Heist: SecondFi Renews Bounty Offer and Halts Operations
SecondFi has renewed its bounty offer for the attacker behind a recent Cardano exploit that resulted in $16.1 million worth of ADA being stolen.
The incident occurred in June and affected 374 wallets, which were compromised due to a key-generation vulnerability.
Although SecondFi claims it secured 129 million ADA during containment, the focus remains on recovering the stolen funds.
The company has confirmed that it will not resume normal operations until further notice, indicating that the incident has had a significant impact on its reputation and trust within the Cardano ecosystem.
