1inch Aqua Empowers Traders with Full Custody Control Across Multiple Chains
1inch has rolled out its Aqua feature, designed to simplify liquidity management in decentralized finance. Unlike traditional methods that require users to give up control over their assets, Aqua allows traders to keep full custody of their tokens while still managing liquidity positions across multiple blockchains.
Aqua supports 13 EVM-compatible chains, including Ethereum and BNB Chain, giving users the flexibility to spread their liquidity without switching tools. The feature also enables token approval, pair selection, and fee configuration directly from a user's wallet, rather than relying on third-party contracts.
This move is significant in the DeFi space, where traders have grown wary of protocols that require them to relinquish custody. If Aqua delivers on its promise, it could increase engagement among users who rely on 1inch for swaps and potentially change liquidity flows in the coming weeks.
