1inch Expands to Cronos with Full Integration Across Its Platforms
1inch has expanded its services to the Cronos blockchain, integrating it across all its platforms: the decentralized application (dApp), wallet, Aqua, and APIs. The integration was announced by Vladimir Kozlov.
Cronos is a popular EVM-compatible chain within the Crypto.com ecosystem, offering fast transaction times, low fees, and high security standards. With 1inch's aggregation infrastructure now covering Cronos, users can access a wider range of assets and benefits from intent-based swaps that eliminate gas fees.
According to DefiLlama data, Cronos has a total value locked (TVL) of around $258.7 million, with daily DEX volume aggregators moving between $100,000 and $150,000. The integration of 1inch's aggregation infrastructure is expected to increase this volume.
Users can now access a range of assets on Cronos, including CRO and wrapped CRO (WCRO), USDC, EURC, bridged WETH and WBTC, CDCETH, and ecosystem tokens such as VVS, TONIC, LCRO, VNO, and FUL. Native USDC holds particular relevance, representing 99.9% of the network's stablecoin base.
The integration also brings native MEV protection to Cronos, ensuring that users are protected from market makers' exploitation. Cross-chain swaps are now possible without the need for intermediary bridges, eliminating gas fees and providing a seamless user experience.
