21shares Waives Sponsor Fee on Solana ETF for 12 Months
21shares, one of the world's leading issuers of crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs), has announced a significant move to make its Solana ETF more attractive to investors. Starting from July 28, 2026, the company will waive its sponsor fee on the 21shares Solana ETF (TSOL) for the next 12 months, reducing it from 0.21% to 0.00%. This move is designed to lower barriers to entry for both retail and institutional investors looking for exchange-traded exposure to Solana (SOL), one of the world's most active blockchain ecosystems.
According to Duncan Moir, President at 21shares, 'With the introduction of a 0% sponsor fee for the next 12 months alongside native staking rewards, we are giving investors an opportunity to gain exposure to Solana's growing ecosystem while benefiting from 21shares' long-established operational and custody infrastructure.' The company is also offering direct exposure to SOL through its ETF, allowing investors to participate in the price performance of Solana without managing private keys or crypto wallets.
Investors should be aware that staking rewards are not guaranteed and can fluctuate based on network conditions. Additionally, investing in TSOL carries significant risk, including possible loss of principal, due to the high degree of volatility and liquidity constraints associated with staking SOL. It's essential for investors to carefully review the prospectus and understand the risks before making a decision.
