21Shares XRP ETF Shifts to FTSE XRP Index Amid Benchmark Swap

Instruments
XRP
Share

The 21Shares XRP ETF will switch its NAV benchmark to the FTSE XRP Index, effective August 27, 2026. This change comes after a new license agreement with FTSE was signed on August 20, 2026. The previous CME CF XRP-Dollar Reference Rate - New York Variant license with CF Benchmarks will end on August 31, 2026.

The new agreement between the 21Shares XRP ETF and FTSE provides a non-exclusive, global right to use the FTSE XRP Index for one year, with automatic annual renewals. This transition aims to support a smoother index shift and streamline administrative processes.

Additionally, the Trust has amended its Sponsor Agreement to pay the Sponsor Fee at least quarterly in arrears, payable in XRP. The previous weekly payment schedule will be replaced by this new arrangement.
