$238 Million Loss Hits Trump Media Amid Crypto Declines
Trump Media & Technology Group reported a massive loss of $238.1 million in its second quarter, a tenfold increase from the same period last year.
The company attributed the decline to losses from digital assets, which totaled more than $190 million.
This is not the first time Trump Media has faced financial woes due to cryptocurrency valuations. In its first fiscal quarter, the company reported a net loss mostly due to tumbling cryptocurrency prices.
The parent company of Truth Social, President Donald Trump's social media platform, remains optimistic about its future prospects, citing its potential merger with nuclear fusion company TAE Technologies in 2026.
