24X, a Bermuda-based multi-asset trading venue, has completed its first spot cryptocurrency trade. The transaction involved Standard Chartered as the liquidity taker and Cumberland DRW as the liquidity provider.

The trade was executed on the 24X platform, which already supports deliverable and non-deliverable swaps, metals, and spot FX. This milestone marks another step in 24X's work to provide regulated infrastructure for institutional digital asset markets.

Dmitri Galinov, CEO and founder of 24X, emphasized the growing demand for digital assets among institutions, stating that 'Institutional demand for digital assets has never been stronger.'
