$250 Billion SME Financing Gap Targeted by New Tokenized Private Credit Fund
Zamanat Fund CEIC Limited is a new tokenized private credit fund established in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) with a target size of up to $100 million. The fund aims to address the estimated $250 billion SME financing gap in the GCC region, where only 11% of small and medium-sized enterprises have access to credit.
The fund will invest in private credit across the region, focusing on strong homegrown companies that struggle to access growth capital despite having sound fundamentals. It is expected to support national ambitions to expand SME participation, private-sector growth, and access to alternative financing, aligning with priorities set out under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the UAE Centennial 2071.
Zamanat sponsored the fund as its first live proof point for regulated fund tokenization on ZIGChain. The company is backed by Disrupt.com, a MENA-based AI-native venture builder and lead investor in the business.
