$25.6 Million Lost in Lightning-Fast Phishing Attack on Crypto Investor

A crypto investor has lost $25.6 million in just 15 minutes due to a phishing attack, according to Scam Sniffer.

The scammers targeted the victim's cryptocurrency wallet and gained access to permissions, allowing them to withdraw large positions worth millions of dollars.

The stolen assets included $6.3 million worth of aWBTC, $5.1 million in DAI, $4.7 million in Wrapped Bitcoin, and $2.6 million in ETH.

The scammers then exchanged the stolen cryptocurrency through decentralized exchanges and distributed the funds across four crypto addresses.
